The hottest thing to happen to Palm Springs lately is the new, super chic Palm Springs Riviera that opened up last fall. Very cool place for a delicious cocktail or dinner. Amazing spa. I am amazed by how many more cool places are coming to Palm Springs despite the tough economy. The brand new ACE Hotel just opened-I am going to check it out this weekend. www.acehotel.com/palmsprings. What's next? Millions of dollars are being pumped in to the downtown area to restore old hotels and build new ones, like the Mondrian. Wow, Mondrian. If any of you have been to the one in Hollywood, you know it houses the elegant and happening Sky Bar and the deliciousness that is Asia de Cuba restaurant. Simply luxurious! Can't wait.
